Marie just graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in International Relations. She also holds a dual bachelor degree in French law, American law and English law at Nanterre Université (France). Her research interests are gender, feminism, human rights and development. She wrote her master’s dissertation on Western misrepresentations of African child soldiers and their consequences, using films and documentaries as empirical evidence. She is now looking for an internship/fellowship/job anywhere in the world that relates to her interests, and in the meanwhile, is living in Madrid to learn Spanish and see some sun.
When not reading feminist stuff, Marie loves to watch movies, read novels, do martial arts and go for a beer and some tapas.
